The Soul Power Band

For 55 years, The Soul Power Band has kept the spirit of soul alive in Phoenix, Arizona. With smooth grooves, heartfelt performances, and a timeless sense of class, the band has brought people together on stages across the Valley, creating memories that linger long after the final note.

At the heart of that legacy is Robert, the bandleader whose dedication has kept the music moving. From securing engagements to bringing musicians together, Robert has put years of work, care, and belief into the band. Still performing alongside his fellow musicians on the congas, he brings the same love of music that has sustained their journey. His rhythm is part of their sound, and his leadership is woven into their story.

Under his guidance, The Soul Power Band has also helped launch emerging artists, giving new voices a stage to grow, build confidence, and find their place in the spotlight. Their legacy lives both in the audiences they have entertained and in the musicians they have encouraged along the way.

Rooted in the elegance and feeling of classic soul, The Soul Power Band brings warmth, style, and a deep connection to every performance. Fifty-five years into their story, Robert and the band continue to share what brought them together: the joy of making music that moves people.
